Going the murder mystery route is sort of interesting, but the characters are unlikable, the scares aren't scary, and the end is lackluster.
None of this made sense. Not remotely scary, and seemed totally removed from other Amityville movies that came before. Skip.
About as entertaining as watching a staring contest between two statues. Actually, scratch that, the statues are probably less boring.
