Such a strange departure from the story in the first 2 movies. Now the lamp is what’s possessed, not the house itself? Not a good sequel IMO

Most of the "horror" could just be attributed to bad home maintenance. This "Amityville" wannabe is borderline hilarious in its absurdity.

In this genre-bending sequel, horror is swapped for made-for-TV schlock and the haunted house is swapped for a haunted lamp. Groundbreaking.

Rather entertaining movie, but for the wrong reasons, another so bad its good. Still one star.

The acting is better than it should be. But at the end of the day, a haunted lamp? Wow. Not good.

The worst sin the film commits isn’t the silly/mundane “accidents” characters befall nor the snoozefest plot. It’s that goddamn ugly lamp.
