Tearjerker, but well acted and methodically paced to wring out every drop of drama from the story
When a movie is called a classic, it’s usually for a reason. This is not the exception. One of the greatest ever.
Spectacular performances all around. This slice of life feels wonderfully and sometimes tragically real.
Very good movie we’ll acted. I don’t remember there being a dry eye in the theater
Sweet comedy about the relationship between a mother and daughter, well-written and well-acted
Detailed with different scenarios, characters, and stories within the film, complex yet heart warming, beautiful yet heart wrenching, 5/5
Good movie, with a heartwarming/breaking story. Good acting, didn't age very well but still holds up.
Great script and acting helped this movie stand out from others of its time. Does what a movie should do, experience emotion.
Devastating, but very excellent acting and writing
Tolerable schmaltz, it is mostly fun enough to get you through the heavy stuff on the back end.
