Classic Merchant-Ivory production. Everything is lovely, and perfectly paced.
A decent movie that shows the difference in class which is visible throughout the film.
Brings the book vividly to life. Superb cast.

Intelligent but slow adaptation of a classic novel. Emma Thompson is great, but this isn’t her best role. Class issues are fascinating imo.
