This is not on my list of best sequels.
The enjoyment of the first one is not found here. 3/10
I think I was forgetting this sequel while I was watching it. Anyway, I saw it not that long ago and I got nothing. Original is brilliant.
Not as good as the first one and delves in another genre while stealing stuff from other movies. Recommended for Starship Troopers fans.
It is nothing like the first one, but it still works as a great action movie. Massively underrated.
How bad a sequel can you make? Special effects are good. Wooden actors, bad script, plastic scenery. There are only two reasons to watch it.

The first was great, this one is terrible. Cheap and boring.
Love the first one and the creatures are the stand out in this film has some creepy scenes but is too boring.

Set in the future, the story follows a young soldier named Johnny Rico and his exploits in the Mobile Infantry. Rico's military career progresses from recruit to non-commissioned officer and finally to officer against the backdrop of an interstellar war between mankind and an arachnoid species known as "the Bugs."
A group of troopers take refuge in an abandoned outpost after fighting alien bugs, failing to realize that more danger lays in wait.
The war against the Bugs continues! A Federation Starship crash-lands on the distant Alien planet OM-1, stranding beloved leader Sky Marshal Anoke and several others, including comely but tough pilot Lola Beck. It's up to Colonel/General Johnny Rico, reluctant hero of the original Bug Invasion on Planet P, to lead a team of Troopers on a daring rescue mission.
