Very much an extended Next Generation episode, but that's not entirely a bad thing.
Not the best star trek movie. But if you are a fan of the franchise you should like it.
I'd truly only recommend this if you're a Star Trek fan. It's full of fan-service to the original series, and a nice mini character-study.
Open's with a cool shot of a CGI bottle floating in space, but it's all downhill from there.
Great movie my 2nd favorite out of the Picard live action movies
Awkward pacing, acting and unexciting narrative. Plays more like an episode of TNG than a Trek movie. Some good scenes but rather dull.
It’s kinda fun to have so many favorites in one film, but that’s about all that was memorable about it.
Flawed with a strong but muddled message that will delight die hard fans with its characters and cameos but disappoint those wanting more.
Weaker entry in the Star Trek cannon. Lots of great actors in this, good ideas, just nothing quite works
Decent cinema intro for the "Next Generation" cast, A pretty solid sci-fi actioneer, but lacks memorability & a decent climax. 6.7/10

The Borg, a relentless race of cyborgs, are on a direct course for Earth. Violating orders to stay away from the battle, Captain Picard and the crew of the newly-commissioned USS Enterprise E pursue the Borg back in time to prevent the invaders from changing Federation history and assimilating the galaxy.
When an alien race and factions within Starfleet attempt to take over a planet that has "regenerative" properties, it falls upon Captain Picard and the crew of the Enterprise to defend the planet's people as well as the very ideals upon which the Federation itself was founded.
En route to the honeymoon of William Riker to Deanna Troi on her home planet of Betazed, Captain Jean-Luc Picard and the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise receives word from Starfleet that a coup has resulted in the installation of a new Romulan political leader, Shinzon, who claims to seek peace with the human-backed United Federation of Planets. Once in enemy territory, the captain and his crew make a startling discovery: Shinzon is human, a slave from the Romulan sister planet of Remus, and has a secret, shocking relationship to Picard himself.
