Contender for biggest disparity in quality between original and sequel. One of the bigger letdowns in cinematic history.
The classic- "I'm surprised they even commissioned a second".
I had more fun than some did with this, But I'm in 2 minds. I like that they didn't just retread film1, but they went somewhere odd with it
Ok fantasy action movie sequel, worth a watch
This story is too good for such a low budget.
It's not great. If you are in the cult following then it's ok I guess.
Love the intro scene of Zeiss in this, but I'm stunned it was not a continuous part of the lore & legend in future productions of films etc!
Don't waste your time. This is an awful attempt to give some back-story, but doesn't cut muster. If you insist, find the Renegade Version
"GENERAL KATANA". This movie steps over all the lore of the first one with the goofiest ideas. No wonder the lead's career is dead. A joke.
A stupid movie with a stupid name. The Highlander series is a strange franchise to become popular in any fashion. Utter boring nonsense.

The Prize has been won. Connor MacLeod is mortal... Now an old man on the verge of death, memories of his past on the planet Zeist resurface, where a vengeful enemy, General Katana, plots to destroy him once and for all.
Deceived that he had won the Prize, Connor MacLeod wanders through the world; however, he is awakened from his peaceful life when an entombed immortal magician, Kane, escapes and comes seeking the Highlander.
Immortals Connor and Duncan Macleod join forces against a man from Connor's distant past in the highlands of Scotland, Kell, an immensely powerful immortal who leads an army of equally powerful and deadly immortal swordsmen and assassins.
