A little slow, but the moral dilemma it introduces kept me engaged until the end.
Much better than the slow/boring original in my opinion. Gets to the point faster while offering the same intriguing concept.
Slow, dark, and a little hard to follow but enjoyable for psychological movie fanatics.

It's a remake of a russian classic. On its own it is good, but compared to the original it just lacks the certain atmosphere we had before.

A psychologist is sent to a space station orbiting a planet called Solaris to investigate the death of a doctor and the mental problems of cosmonauts on the station. He soon discovers that the water on the planet is a type of brain which brings out repressed memories and obsessions.
A spacecraft is discovered at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean, presumed to be at least 300 years old and of alien origin.
