Surprisingly amazing. A great extension of the first film that takes the story in exciting new directions
Honestly, I preferred it over the original. A more human and believable look at Norman Bates, and still a big twist I didn’t see coming
The story line is more complex to keep the audience guessing. Not as good as the original but it has its own spark.

Good sequel, much better than expected. Picks up like 20 years after Psycho. Keeps the suspense high, there's no hating it.

When larcenous real estate clerk Marion Crane goes on the lam with a wad of cash and hopes of starting a new life, she ends up at the notorious Bates Motel, where manager Norman Bates cares for his housebound mother.
Norman Bates is declared sane and released from the facility in which he was being held, despite the complaints of Lila Loomis, sister of his most famous victim. Is he really cured, or will he kill again?
When Maureen Coyle, a suicidal nun who resembles Norman's former victim, Marion Crane, arrives at the motel, all bets are off and "Mother" is less than happy.
When he hears talk radio host Fran Ambrose discussing the topic of matricide, Norman calls in under a false name to tell his story.
