Brilliant satire of US teen slasher films.
This movie scared me as a kid, but it doesn't hold up at all
I tried to hate it but it's funny and creepy
Above-average J-horror stuff, with some memorable scenes. Probably scrapes 3 stars with a decent ending. But, well...
I like the visuals, they plot is ok. But everyone is here because of Takashi Miike and his over-the-topness
I hated this movie the one time I saw it
The pace is a little to slow so the tension built is kind of lost between big scenes.
Not scary at all, but I don’t get scared easily
You’d be better off watching feardotcom. True, I gave that movie 2 stars as well, but at least it had some creativity involved.
Pretty sloppy storytelling but it’s visuals are very interesting. If your interested, it’s way better than the American remake

People mysteriously start receiving voicemail messages from their future selves, in the form of the sound of them reacting to their own violent deaths, along with the exact date and time of their future death, listed on the message log. The plot thickens as the surviving characters pursue the answers to this mystery which could save their lives.
A Japanese restaurant cook/owner dies after answering his daughter's cellphone. Other people are getting strange, same ringtone calls as well and dying painfully. It happened in Taiwan as well. Can the police stop it if it's a ghost?
The timid, young Asuka is bullied by her classmates. When they embark on a class field trip to Korea, Asuka plans revenge by sending them a cursed phone message they can either pass on or die.
