Versus original film, horror imagery much weaker, less inventive. Dull characters and some gaping plot holes. Less annoying ending, though!
Unneeded follow-up to the original. Less atmosphere and story equals a mediocre movie that is not worth seeing.
Nowhere near as good as the first one. This film's story was all over the place...it felt like they were making it up as they go

People mysteriously start receiving voicemail messages from their future selves, in the form of the sound of them reacting to their own violent deaths, along with the exact date and time of their future death, listed on the message log. The plot thickens as the surviving characters pursue the answers to this mystery which could save their lives.
A Japanese restaurant cook/owner dies after answering his daughter's cellphone. Other people are getting strange, same ringtone calls as well and dying painfully. It happened in Taiwan as well. Can the police stop it if it's a ghost?
The timid, young Asuka is bullied by her classmates. When they embark on a class field trip to Korea, Asuka plans revenge by sending them a cursed phone message they can either pass on or die.
