Thought I would hate the weird white thing, but ended up being quite fun. Its an absurd mess but you can dig up some meaning if you want to.
So surreal and honestly really funny. Great practical effects but also kind of an acquired taste.

A Kafkaesque, Lynchian film noir that only Cronenberg could have pulled off. Super strange, but also incredibly funny.
Complex symbolic structure got boring. Enigmatic novels work because you control how slow or fast you read. A film controls its own time.
This movie is so visually striking, with a wild interpretation of Burroughs. I absolutely love Weller's acting. My favorite Cronenberg film.
