Kind of sexy. Like blue velvet but less story. Its nice but i dont think ill ever rewatch
Very stylish, but too pleased with itself. Would have eaten this shit up in my 20s.
An incredible movie with the most essential 90s soundtrack I’ve ever heard. What a journey
What really is there to say about this? It’s an art film.
A little confusing and meandering, but really straightforward compared to Lynch’s other work.
David Lynch is an amazing artist that inspires me! Loved it!
In need of a rewatch. Maggie Fish does an amazing breakdown on youtube, comparing this movie to the Shining
If you’re not a Lynch fan already, you’re not gonna like this.
I liked this movie more than mullholland drive.
Definitely a David Lynch film! Watch for the edgy twists; listen for the killer soundtrack. Avoid if art films aren't your thing.

Initially, "Mulholland Dr." was to mark David Lynch's return to television. It is a retooling of a script originally shot as a 94-minute pilot for a TV series (co-written with TV screenwriter Joyce Eliason) for the channel ABC, which had approved the script, but chose not even to air the pilot once it was done in 1999, despite Lynch's labours to cut the project to their liking. It was left in limbo until 18 month later French company Studio Canal Plus (also producer of 'The Straight Story') agreed to pay ABC $7 million for the pilot, and budget a few million more to turn the pilot into a two-hour, 27-minute movie. The cost of the film doubled to $14 million as sets had to be reconstructed and actors recalled.
