"Film is based on a true story of Bobby Sands a Irish Republican who goes on a hunger strike, Fassbender puts in a marvellous performance"
A fantastically acted and directed, but ultimately incredibly bleak depiction of a dark period in Irish history.
Barely watched the half of it. Can't watch this kind of real acting.
Bleak and well told, slow moving and haunting. Lots to praise here
A brilliant performance from Michael Fastbender.
Heartbreaking performance from Michael Fassbender.
Quiet, gorgeously shot, and very slow. Definitely not for everyone, but I LOVED it.
Fassbender literally wastes away in front of the camera, it’s hard to watch.
A true nail biting depiction of just a slither of the Irish troubles. A beautiful piece of cinema that leaves your blood boiled
Incredible performances and intriguing cinematography
