Not the travesty I was led to believe. It’s more romance than monster story so I get it… but it has a lot of heart.

While it doesn’t hold a candle to the classic original or 2005 remake, this is still a great 70s monster flick with some good atmosphere.

Haven't seen this remake for a long time. Technology allowed better special FX than the original but story not quite as good.

I prefer both the other Kong films, but this has its moments. The ending was incredibly odd though.

A surprisingly solid remake of a classic film

Lang is frustratingly vapid. Bridges’ gorgeous hair is a stand in for personality. Kong is a creeper. This film is all over the place.

Okay remake. Script isn’t good. Charles Grodin hams it up a lot. I like the score by John Barry. Jessica Lange looks stunning!

An unnecessary but equally as fun remake of the original from the 30's.

Period piece that isn't quite as memorable as the first, but great casting and I cried all over again at the ending. Iconic poster.

A classic monster movie and, although dated at points, worth seeing due to its influence on cinematic culture.
