The best animation in all of Studio Ghibli, the limits of the fantasy genre are pushed very far and the result is a fun and magical film.
Amazing story, voice acting and art. Truly a touching masterpiece
I adore the movie because of Howl & visual storytelling. This & book diverge significantly in plot and themes. I like both book & this film.

In the year 2029, the barriers of our world have been broken down by the net and by cybernetics, but this brings new vulnerability to humans in the form of brain-hacking. When a highly-wanted hacker known as 'The Puppetmaster' begins involving them in politics, Section 9, a group of cybernetically enhanced cops, are called in to investigate and stop the Puppetmaster.
Ashitaka, a prince of the disappearing Emishi people, is cursed by a demonized boar god and must journey to the west to find a cure.
