Revising this reaction - watching the director's cut is like seeing entirely different movie. Much more interesting, and it makes sense.
The movie was cutting edge in it's day, worth it to see what people in the 90's thought the future was to be. My mind was blown as a kid.
This isn’t a conventionally “good” movie, & it has *NOTHING* to do with King’s short story, however: I love this ridiculous film.
The story is extremely interesting and progresses beautifully. If you can look past the silly graphics of the time, this is a great watch.
My brain and senses were not up to dealing with this. Still clueless.
I was fascinated by this movie when it came out. Haven't seen it in a long time so I don't know how it held up over time
The tagline is "God made him simple. Science made him a god." There's a murder ape, VR-induced ESP and Pierce Brosnan looking sexy af. 10/10
It's dumb but entertaining. Old 90' sci-fi movies that use computers are so laughable.
Surprisingly good psychological thriller.
Yes good, but only 4 a few viewings, mind! The SFX R great considering its age, but most of the acting gets strained against the dialogue!🤨
