A sequel that leaves the dourness of the original behind to have some campy fun. Knows exactly what it is and leans into it all the way.
Not as good as the original but still a fun watch
A perfect and rare sequel, we will never get another sequel to a major blockbuster like this again. Hilarious, Meta, and fun.
A fantastically zany follow up to a pretty basic movie. While it's references may be dated fun is still had.

Just as good as the first but the gremlins are more cartoonish and not as dark but still fun
Of course not as good as the original but still a fun ride with some of the same characters
It may shine far less brightly than the first, but "Gremlins 2: The New Batch" is still an unadulterated gem, through and through.

After receiving an exotic small animal as a Christmas gift, a young man inadvertently breaks three important rules concerning his new pet, which unleashes a horde of malevolently mischievous creatures on a small town.
Young sweethearts Billy and Kate move to the Big Apple, land jobs in a high-tech office park and soon reunite with the friendly and lovable Gizmo. But a series of accidents creates a whole new generation of Gremlins. The situation worsens when the devilish green creatures invade a top-secret laboratory and develop genetically altered powers, making them even harder to destroy!
