Amazingly, Attenborough mounted an epic production before CGI. As a movie, it can only scratch the surface. Gandhi was brave, but no saint.

I was too young when i see it but i think it was good, it was the first time i heard about gandhi.
Ben Kingsley encompasses and fully becomes one of the greatest individuals to touch the face of our planet.
This film is fascinating rather than captivating. I found it tortuously slow but the history is still interesting. I’d just rather read it.
It’s great. Drags on because it’s biopic (which means it needs to feel four hours long), but great acting!
Beautiful biopic with a fine performance by Ben Kingsley. An amazing life though shies away from controversies with his children.
