One of the greatest epics ever filmed. I've never felt so immersed in a film 'world'.

Just saw phenomenally restored footage in theatrical rerelease. My favorite film of all time, and one that younger audiences need to see.
Crazy that even though they failed to mention his sexuality he still comes off as very camp. Real life accounts prevailed erasure

A very long winded movie that banks on you appreciating the craft more than the crafting. Often boring but more often beautiful.
Technically amazing. Big sets and great cinematography. But it’s a shame that a criticism of the “white savior” has a lot of brownface.
