Spy caper lands somewhere between 007 and LeCarre. The important strokes of the plot can be kept track of. Mainly enjoyed Caine’s wry barbs.

It is a fine drama that keeps you guessing and wondering throughout. The film is very much of its time but still is fascinating to watch.
