I have a very soft spot for this entry in the Jason saga. It's got my favorite kill in the whole series and has such a strange charm to it.
There‘s a lot of so bad it‘s good in there but ultimately, it‘s too boring to be saved by that
One of the more absurd Jason movies. Once they finally get to New York it is a very nice grimey 80s New York. Should be called Jason Cruisin
The idea of Jason going to NY is pretty cool, but sadly most of the gore and awesome NY shots were cut, so most of the movies set on a boat.
New levels of stupid (both intentional and not) for the series. I like the location shift, but the last 40 minutes are so boring and dumb.
Big fan of the Friday the 13th horror movies but for me it's the worst of the originals

Most of the film is on a boat, not Manhattan. So the filmmakers wanted to do something different, but couldn’t even commit to it.
There is no question that this is a terrible movie all though i do tend to enjoy a few scenes in it and some of the kills are decent
Not the best Jason movie but it has some funny kills and if you like the slasher genre it's worth a watch.
