Replaces all of the How's of the previous movies with many more Why's. There are still tons of "How did/can he____" questions. Nonsense
A particularly irritating sequel, Part 5 is more vapid than usual and has a twist that's comically bad.
Absolutely love this film! If you view this as a loose remake of the original, Jason being absent is no big deal at all
Kind of changes the scenery but little to no other originality in any way. More gratuitous violence and nudity that serves no purpose.
The odd one but still more entertaining than part 8 and other later entries, good watch with friends.
All of a sudden, any semblance of sanity this franchise had took a break. That makes this movie both stupidly fun yet also just plain stupid
Entretaining but it definetly cared more about setting up kills than characters, which is a shame because 4 managed to balance it better

A bit different from the other films, brings back the mystery of who the killer is following Jason’s death and continues Tommy’s story.
