As Christopher Nolan’s directorial debut it is a great watch to see what he did on a micro budget. Very interesting film. Enjoyed it.
Remarkable what he was able to do with so little. You can see the the seedlings of Memento and a seemingly clairvoyant Batman nod too!
Not exactly the Christopher Nolan that we know now, but plenty of twists in this short film to see it’s him learning the art
Christopher Nolan’s feature-length debut tells a tense, paranoid neo-noir with all the nonlinear suspense that has become his trademark.
This is storytelling at its best on a budget, there are some areas it could improve in but it was nonetheless a great start for Nolan

Who needs stars or money to make a tight-knit, clever film? Not Nolan. Shades of his later work like The Prestige and Memento.
