This Movie can make any grown Man shed a Tear, ABSOLUTELY compelling!!
A powerful anti-war film with tremendous work by so many of actors. The final scene in the bar is overwhelming.
A bold indictment of court martials. The attack scene was shot so well, it looked almost like black-and-white IMAX
One of Kubrick’s earlier films, a great watch for long time fans of the prolific director.
Brilliantly filmed by one of the best directors to exist. Devastating not due to the natural evils of war. But the terrible evils of man.
A Kubrick masterpiece & one of the saddest films about war. Led by an excellent Kirk Douglas & long take battle scenes.
It is such a beautifully told tale. If you want a good cry go for it. Just absolutely stunning. And that ending man. 5th favorite film 10/10

A powerful anti-war statement. The ending seems inevitable, but that’s more of a commentary on humanity than a fault of the movie.
