Decent story and acting overall. A pretty OK drama movie.
This movie never really goes anywhere. I still found it to be enjoyable though. 6/10
Why do I get The Wire vibes from this? Some minor roles underutilized. Completely predictable halfway falling out, but thats how it goes.
Pretty good but not great. It’s a feel good story with some social/racial issues addressed. Connery is great but the ending is predictable
Growing up I really wanted to be a writer. This film really spoke to me. Everyone in it does an outstanding job.

Sir Robert Beaumont is behind schedule on a railroad in Africa. Enlisting noted engineer John Henry Patterson to right the ship, Beaumont expects results.
