Not deep or pretentious, just easy and watchable
Don’t like golf but I love this movie! Kevin is totally adorable & spark w/ Rene is palpable. It’s funny & sweet. Cheech & Don r fantastic!
Costner is on fire. One of the very best sports comedies of the 90’s. Great supporting cast & Russo is full of sass as the love interest.
Probably a tad too long, but pretty enjoyable all the same. Great solid, Costner is effortlessly charming. Implausible ending, still fun.
A charming sports comedy with strong performances, but the disappointing ending leaves a bittersweet note on an otherwise fun film.

simple and heart warming story about arrogance and how personal ego gets in the way of connecting with the heart. a bit chessy in parts
I find this movie to be more entertaining and watchable than most. Kevin Costner has his charisma amped up and Cheech Marin is on his game.
