Very 90s. A couple of story lines didn’t add up, but otherwise very solid. Dealt with tough things well.
A beautiful movie that left a lasting impression on me.

In small pieces, an ordinary, flawed life. As a whole, an extraordinary opus. Richard Dreyfus is awesome. Moves slow but worth the effort.
Structured like a music biopic, but since it’s a work of fiction it tells a perfect, dramatic story. Solid tearjerker

It's fine. The finale is emotional, but for the most part this is a movie about a teacher... teaching. It's disjointed, at best.
Its feel good and a great watch with family. Slow as all get out but it picks up pace with moments that connect with you. Great theme.
