Very 90s. A couple of story lines didn’t add up, but otherwise very solid. Dealt with tough things well.

In small pieces, an ordinary, flawed life. As a whole, an extraordinary opus. Richard Dreyfus is awesome. Moves slow but worth the effort.

Structured like a music biopic, but since it’s a work of fiction it tells a perfect, dramatic story. Solid tearjerker

One mans life story as a music director at a school shown through the decades. The film is breathtaking by how fun and tear jerking it is

Decent enough drama. The kind of movie you'd watch on the old TV cart at school

A love letter to teachers, and everyone else who didn’t end up where they expected but still tried their best.

It's fine. The finale is emotional, but for the most part this is a movie about a teacher... teaching. It's disjointed, at best.

Its feel good and a great watch with family. Slow as all get out but it picks up pace with moments that connect with you. Great theme.
