Best adaptation of the story. Lugosi kills!
The classic horror movie. So many horror films and films in general have learned from Dracula.
Plenty of atmosphere and a great cast. Lugosi is indisputably the ultimate Dracula. Its age and lower budget show a bit, but still iconic.
Bela Lugosi is Dracula! I mean, the man was buried with his freaking cape! “Listen to them, children of the night. What music they make.”
Not as good as The Bride of Frankenstein (masterpiece!), but a well deserved classic. Make sure to check out the Spanish version as well!
Really charming and engaging, easily the best original Universal monster movie in my opinion
Hasn’t aged very well, over the top and a bit campy. It is cool to see where so many other vampire portrayals take inspiration from though!
fantastic movie! definitely has the slow pacing of an older film, but if you can overcome that you’ll enjoy this highly aesthetic classic
