One of the BEST, and forgotten War Films I’ve ever seen. It somehow manages to be So tense throughout the entire film! A MUST WATCH!
I had to watch this at least once a year in high school
Slow burn, claustrophobic, technical with tense sporadic action. All of it works terrifically in a submarine war film.

Probably my favourite submarine movie. Tense action with the gritty realism of the claustrophobic and futile nature of sub warfare.
The captain isn't perfect, crew members fray while others fail, but it's about team -- the whole -- and it definitely holds attention.
Immersive. Good characters, great story.
