Heartwarming movie that fits a simple disney template. The performances of John Candy & Malik Yoba elevate this movie for me.

This is a lovable, but overlooked movie. It’s based on a true story. I’ve seen it several times, which is more than I can say for others.

It's an enjoyable movie that manages to get a few good laughs out of me. And honestly you can never go wrong with John Candy!
It's hard not to like this feel-good dramatization of this story, which is also well-made, considering the two very different settings.
A great true story and a stellar comedy.
