Hughes' teen classic. Broderick charms as witty rebel. Quotable lines, memorable scenes. Captures youthful spirit. Clever escapist fantasy.
I adore the dialogue of this and this is overall so fun to watch. I always wind up coming back to it.
An instant classic of its day. The fantasy of anybody who’s ever attended school, how to ditch school and get away with it. Witty humor!!
For the parents out there a couple of times they say Sh** before you let the kids watch. Great movie.

Took me until 2023 to watch this, and I think standards have changed such that the Bueller character is no longer likable. Good soundtrack.

Young teen Mikey Walsh and his friends set off on a quest to find Pirate One-Eyed Willie's treasure in hopes of saving their homes from demolition.
