A mind trip if a movie. Crazy at times with some signature Nic Cage moments. But a fascinating story and decent acting. Worth the watch.

A bonkers ride that makes you feel like you’re tripping balls, starring Hollywood’s favourite whack job. Great fun though!
A good Lovecraftian movie but I wanted a bit more from it. Great representation for a niche genre of movies that I wish we had more of.
With so many bad adaptions of Lovecraft, this is pretty good. Second half gets better as Nicolas Cage gets off leash in a world of madness.

This movie was way better than I expected with beautiful colors and a performance from nick cage that is more than welcome in my heart

An insurance investigator begins discovering that the impact a horror writer's books have on his fans is more than inspirational.
Strange things begin to occurs as a tiny California coastal town prepares to commemorate its centenary. Inanimate objects spring eerily to life; Rev. Malone stumbles upon a dark secret about the town's founding; radio announcer Stevie witnesses a mystical fire; and hitchhiker Elizabeth discovers the mutilated corpse of a fisherman. Then a mysterious iridescent fog descends upon the village, and more people start to die.
