VERY violent. But a premise and themes close to my heart. A++

A nice surprise, a very shocking and dark film by a talented director. Dan Stevens gives a masterfully moody performance.
Was a really entertaining story overall. Gore was well done, some parts were shocking, and character designs were sweet.
Great set design, cinematography, story and acting yet this movie lacks in character development. Things happen too quickly in the final act
Some haunting imagery, but Gareth Evan's action pedigree and some ambiguity at the end make parts feel inconsistent. Otherwise a great watch

Absolutely stunning - gripping and intriguing, with exciting and horrific action. Superbly acted and directed to boot.
This could be great but feels like it was missing something. I liked it but I wouldn’t watch again. Stevens and Sheen are both good in it.
