The killer's POV reveals anxiety and weakness that makes us feel sorry & gut-wrenching torment that reminds us: he's a monster. Brilliant.
As disturbing as the original and stands on its own merits. Elijah Wood makes a good dead-eyed psycho.

The story was more compelling than the original but the constant pov got tiring after a while
The POV filming is pretty unique for the time. Has a pretty good atmosphere & it is definitely pretty disturbing. Likely won't see it again.
pov gimmick isn’t all that great, elijah wood does well to play crazed serial killer but the film kinda falls flat
Really good horror remake! The killer POV adds to the creepy, gruesome and gorey atmosphere! Would recommend!
