Be sure and take a deep breath. This one is a doozer. Also, try it without subtitles. Very immersive. Very cool.
Being Latin-American I might be biased, but I think is the best produced movie about Mayas out there.
Visually incredible. Gruesome and unforgiving. A cascading series of events that compound into a memorable journey. RY is enthralling.
Primal filmmaking, literally. Been awhile since I’ve watched but it was unique.
Absolutely incredible film. You will be on the edge of your seat.
Historical accuracy is a catastrophe, but has hallmarks of a fun thriller.
Unique narrative, tribal, feels very realistic
A dark look at the self-destructive final days of the Mayan civilization
Good fun to watch story not very original but carried by the setting
Worth a watch due 2 it being IMHO, Mel Gibson's greatest achievement in motion pictures, way above Braveheart! Kind of a masterclass really!
