Be sure and take a deep breath. This one is a doozer. Also, try it without subtitles. Very immersive. Very cool.
Being Latin-American I might be biased, but I think is the best produced movie about Mayas out there.
Absolutely incredible film. You will be on the edge of your seat.
Brutal, intense and gory, Mel Gibson really gives it his all in terms of directing here, which works for the most part
Engaging characters and antagonists, emotive, gory and very artsy. Mel Gibson was able to create a solid movie about Maya civilization.
Unique narrative, tribal, feels very realistic
Mel Gibson never fails with directing a movie. Simply astonishing.
Visually amazing. The contrast of colors in the jungle is beautiful. It was a gore fest with a some history loosely sprinkled in.
Such a raw and historical movie. To me it was scary bc of how realistic it was. Beautifully directed
A beautifully vibrant looking film and a brutal depiction of Mayan culture, thrilling and suspenseful, a must watch
A brutal film that may not be everyone's cup of tea.
Seen this movie quite a few times and I still think it's brilliant and very well directed by Mrl Gibson set in the Mayan Kingdom top marks
Definitely worth a watch, a little to slow for me but the dedication of like the language makes it worth my time
Worth a watch due 2 it being IMHO, Mel Gibson's greatest achievement in motion pictures, way above Braveheart! Kind of a masterclass really!
A dark look at the self-destructive final days of the Mayan civilization
Gruesome story from an era that is not frequently presented in movies. Loved the down to the earth plot
Really bloody and dark but still pretty interesting
Not enough films are made completely in the language of an indigenous extinct society. One of Mel Gibson's well-done directing projects!
This is amazing watch and in the later half it becomes very interesting.
A great film with a unique premise, yet flawed with it’s frequent and cliched Hollywood tropes.
