A classic from the past. Includes themes of family, religion, and trust.
Remember when a billion family baseball movies came out? And they were all good? This is one of them.
Hokey nonsense, but it’s one of those movies I watched as a kid. Too bad the Pirates didn’t get the help in this one. They needed it.
Very sweet, heartwarming family film. A young JGL is adorable, and it seems like everyone involved had fun making it.
A classic from my childhood I’ll always like it

Great movies for kids who like baseball
good entertaining movie for the whole family
Pretty basic, straightforward, predictable children’s baseball movie that has a really good cast. Young JGL is great.
