Not as analytical as the first one, but much less strenuous on the brain
Less cerebral than its predecessor, but still a worthy watch
A follow-up that walks in the footsteps of 2001: A Space Odyssey. Both are sci-fi classics worth a watch if you’re a fan of the genre.
Very different from 2001. Fairly average.
There's a couple of nice ideas spinning of from 2001, there's a couple of good looking scenes. But it ain't no Kubrick!
Unnecessary, but not a bad follow up if you wanted more of 2001. Really solid performances.
It’s a follow up to the amazing movie 2001. It misses some of the charm the first one has but is still a good movie 7/10
I found it exciting, well acted, and I loved the very gaudy, loud take on future tech aesthetics. So many blinking lights!
A great continuation of 2001, even though it doesn’t quite measure up to the original
A good sequel to 2001, a great sci-fi film.
A lot of exposition, and the whole thing feels a bit like a fan fic vs the style of the original.
I guess it's hard to make a sequel to 2001
2001 is way better, but I enjoyed watching anyway.
This really looks silly compared to the masterpiece that was 2001. As with the novels, the sequels were not good. Save some time and skip!
I wanted to like this (not *everything* has to be Kubrick levels of cinema!) but I just found it such a slog and not very worthwhile.
While not as good or memorable as 2001, it is a competent sequel.
Nothing like the first one. Disappointing.
Not quite as impressive as the original, but thought provoking and interesting SF nonetheless.
What a disappointment
