This movie perfectly blends real scares with humour and a cool look into F.W Murnau's tragic life. More info: https://youtu.be/QLW3CD3EIYs
A film about a film that is already shrouded in uncanny lore. If Defoe wasn’t already a good enough reason to see a film, this premise is.
Pretty cool but niche film, lots of effort is put into recreating scenes from Nosferatu over making a super compelling narrative.
High concept and superb execution. Perfect casting, truly nothing about this movie I would change.
The movie has pacing issues, but creates an enviable atmosphere.
beautifully shot, with great acting, for anyone who loves cinema as art... Dafoe is amazing!!!
It's a classic, but the times changed so much I find it hard to give it top marks.
What an entertaining little treat this movie is. It's scary, amusing and well acted.
How does Dafoe achieve this level of macabre? What an incredible performance, at times scary, at times funny, a true tribute do silent films
An expertly dark and dramatic film with John Malkovich and Willem Dafoe acting brilliantly throughout.
