10 Cloverfield Lane
Thriller • PG-13 • 2016 • 1 hr 44 min
John Goodman makes for a really nice creepy guy in this version of the cloverfield trilogy which keeps you guessing and ends nicely
Suspenseful story. Would have actually been even better if it didn't have a prequel (even though Cloverfield is also a good film).
This one messed me up real good. It's a good film, and I recommend it, but I will never ever watch it again. Worth watching at least once.
With its focus on three people living in a bunker, it’s full of suspense. Ending caught me off guard on my first watch
It feels like there are two movies here. They're both good, really good, but it's jarring to jump from one to another in the last 20 minutes
the first part was intense and unexpected at all i had my breath held at every minute, but the ending was underwhelming and made no sense.
3.5 stars. Extremely tense, very well-done sci-fi thriller story. Acting is phenomenal, especially from John Goodman. Ending isn't great.
Have seen 4-5 times now. Remember not liking it much on first watch. But honestly, it might be the best thriller/sci-fi of the last 8 years.
Starts slow but it has good action scenes
Never seen the original Cloverfield but never felt like I needed to. This was a tense and thrilling standalone movie.
