Really good starting into horror movies awesome film
Greatest found footage film of the 2000’s, I found it funny when it wasn’t nightmarishly scary with great special effects
It goes from a dilemma in a party to a full on world under threat film and I like the Blair Witch Project style filming.
Enjoyable found footage flick about a monster attacking NY, effectively intense once things get going
Shakey cam/found footage is a cheap gimmick, but it works in SPADES in Cloverfield. I can’t get enough of it. Please check it out.
I’ve seen found footage before, but this still made me motion-sick… still a great character-driven Kaiju story from a unique perspective.
A brilliant addition to the found footage genre
The plot unfolds perfectly. Interesting characters and twists. Super fun and rewatchable. It just a really cool way to do a monster movie.
Unique cinematography, relentless pacing, and edge of your seat tension make this a fun watch.
Camera on the hand is very suitable for it
