Started listening to GZA and Wu Tang again after watching. They do some creative things to demonstrate the creation of the group and music
a slow start & it does feel like a repetitive story but it does progress & build up. Ep8 of S01 is so well shot with great narrative
Entertaining even if you already know the history of the Wu-Tang Clan or if you’re brand new. Like the Wire, but based around music.
You gotta really hate WT or hip hop/rap to not like this. Mostly great series about WTs raise to fame, and everything behind
Good performances all around. Every episode makes you excited to start the next. Easy binge.
Raw, inspiring and if you love wu tang clan, look no further
Much more fleshed out compared to Straight Outta Compton
With so many in the collective, they do ok with giving everyone at least a feature moment. I learned & appreciated even with the cheezybits.
I don’t like it
I love it
