Every version of this tale is worth time from the book to the radio plays to this and others. If you like Douglas Adams, you will dig this.
so funny. one of my fav books and it's such a enjoyable adaptation
Great introduction for me who hadn't heard on radio or read the books. Adams' whimsical, comedic, style and observations came through.
Very strange but amazing. Must watch if you love the books.
If you love the books, them I recommend this.
Hilarious, clever, and weird in all the right ways!
Might be a little old now, but I watched this repeatedly as a kid. The remake does not compare
Sort of like Space Balls humor or Ned's Declassified RIYL The Big Lebowski
The movie was great, the TV series is dated.
The best adaptation so far

A British sketch comedy series with the shows being composed of surreality, risqué or innuendo-laden humour, sight gags and observational sketches without punchlines.
Blackadder traces the deeply cynical and self-serving lineage of various Edmund Blackadders throughout British history, from the muck of the Middle Ages to the frontline of The Great War.
The adventures of the last human alive and his friends, stranded three million years into deep space on the mining ship Red Dwarf.
When an old enemy, the Cylons, resurface and obliterate the 12 colonies, the crew of the aged Galactica protect a small civilian fleet - the last of humanity - as they journey toward the fabled 13th colony, Earth.
Spaced: the anti-Friends, in that it examines the lives of common 20 somethings, but in a way that is more down to earth and realistic. Here we have Daisy and Tim; two 'young' adults with big dreams just trying to get by in this crazy world. They are thrown together in a common pursuit of tenancy, which they find by posing as a couple. The house has a landlady and an oddball artist living there. The series explores the ins and outs of London living.
LOOK AROUND YOU. Look around you. Just look around you. What do you see? A tree. A weather-vane. A discarded lollipop-wrapper. A traffic shop. All of these things, and any other things you may care to mention, have one thing in common. Can you work out what it is?
The Kids in the Hall is a Canadian sketch comedy group formed in 1984, consisting of comedians Dave Foley, Kevin McDonald, Bruce McCulloch, Mark McKinney, and Scott Thompson.
