They are not for everyone! Those that do watch and enjoy appreciate the genius that is Kids in the Hall. Awesome absurdity!
If you made a list of the best sketch shows ever, this would be in the top five. At least look up and watch some of the best sketches.

An amazing cast that built a legacy in comedy that few can rival.
Beyond comedy -- a straying into cool Canadian Surrealism, pointlessly disturbed characters & poetic urban scenarios.
Not everything has aged perfectly, but it really is a great time!
Classic sketch comedy series from Canada. Very much an acquired taste as far as comedy goes, but if it clicks you’ll love it.
A classic sketch comedy show with often dry humor. Sometimes the comedy is maybe too smart? Worth watching to find the best sketches.
The original alternative comedy troupe. Classic stuff.
Old sketch comedy group that gave us many famous comedians we love today.
