Not my favorite of the Emma’s but still quite good.
I like how this is longer and lets you take your time enjoying the story, setting, people and the romance
While cringe at points, that's kind of the point of Emma, I love it but I love Austen.
True to the novel and the visuals suit well.
The cast is amazing, Romola Garai is especially good as Emma
Capture’s Emma’s loneliness well. Kind of dumb’s down the story a bit paraphrasing the dialogue and making the exposition super explicit.
My favorite adaptation of my favorite Austen! Beautiful production and performances!
A faithful retelling. Very long, but well done.
A great adaptation. While it will never be one of my go tos, it captures the feeling of the novel very well
Wonderful mini series especially if your a Jane Austen fan.
