Based on Scott Aukerman’s popular podcast of the same name, COMEDY BANG! BANG! cleverly riffs on the well-known format of the late night talk show, infusing celebrity appearances and comedy sketches with a tinge of the surreal. In each episode, Aukerman engages his guests with unfiltered and improvisational lines of questioning, punctuated by banter and beats provided by bandleader, one-man musical mastermind Reggie Watts, to reinvent the traditional celebrity interview. Packed with character cameos, filmic shorts, sketches and games set amongst an off-beat world, COMEDY BANG! BANG! delivers thirty minutes of absurd laugh-loaded fun featuring some of the biggest names in comedy.

A goofy and light show that does a solid job of adapting the podcast’s spirit into a more structured visual form.
Surreal spoof on the interview show format. Scott is pretty good, Reggie is great, and some bits are gold. I played it in the background.
Really enjoyed Reggie Watts making music with the guest. Inventive segment, though dry in humor.
Scott Aukerman hosts a Abso-lutely subversive talk show with guest that aren’t quite in on the non-sequitur humor. Get high and enjoy!
Great sketches and interviews. Absurd, witty, and self aware
One of the best comedy shows, I quote this shit on a daily basis
Abstract is a word that comes to mind when discribe this, I constantly feel like they are holding back on jokes, like a pg Eric Andre show
One of the most absurd shows there is. The perfect brand of comedy.
If you like the podcast, you’ll like this too
Brilliantly written, crazy, outlandish style of comedy which may not appeal to everyone but certainly does to me.

LOOK AROUND YOU. Look around you. Just look around you. What do you see? A tree. A weather-vane. A discarded lollipop-wrapper. A traffic shop. All of these things, and any other things you may care to mention, have one thing in common. Can you work out what it is?
