Still enjoyable if you haven't read the book. Got lots of subtle jokes about the paradoxes of war.
I loved the book and original film & this is a well-done, moving extension with well cast actors.
Loved it, it was great and this show inspired me to read the book for the first time and I’m now in the middle of that so yea
Am 1 season show that captures what it was like to be I a war that you don't necessarily want ro be in.
Good humour perfectly underlines the futility of war.
Trims quite a lot from the book, but what is there is authentically funny, entertaining and, at times, brutally confronting.
The acting is phenomenal, but it the emotional beats don't ever really land
Really great update to the book and original movie. A little too much cgi but other than that, it’s great
A well paced miniseries that hooks you in to the heroes journey.
An incredible show that has great laugh out loud and gut wrenching emotional moments. Shows what war can do to a person's sanity.
