Better than you'd think. A brooding adversary rushing a plodding pragmatist. Someone needs to ask this djinn "you mad bro?"
Absolute blast. Watch with friends for great scares, gore, and laughs. Super entertaining
Much better that expected. Very much in the mould of a Clive Barker book/movie.
I absolutely fell in love with the insane VFX. I won't pretend the other elements are all stellar but as a visual showcase, its wonderful.
From an era when horror was more silly than scary, but it's still a lot of fun.
it's the best of a really mediocre series of films. it isn't good, but it's fun in a cheap way.
A spooky cautionary tale with great practical effects
Andrew Divoff is acting his Divoff, but otherwise this is a camp take on genies. Some good moments, worth watching for horror fanatics only
Super likable protagonist, unique antagonist, and some incredible and creative horror.
Actually enjoyed the cheese factor on this one, but definitely doesn't compare to other horror franchises

The Djinn, having been released from his ancient prison, seeks to capture the soul of the woman who discovered him, thereby opening a portal and freeing his fellow Djinn to take over the earth.
During a failed art heist, the Djinn is once again liberated. This time, to complete the 1001 wishes that he needs before the final 3, he lets himself go to prison, where he starts his evil reign twisting the hopes of the prisoners. Meanwhile, the woman who set him free accidentally, Morgana, tries to find a way to stop him, aided by a young priest.
The evil Djinn is back at it again, this time wreaking havoc on the students of Illinois' Baxter University. His victim is a beautiful, innocent and studious teenage girl named Diana Collins who accidentally opened up the Djinn's tomb and released him.
