This didn’t get near the praise it deserved. Maybe the plot wasn’t as intricate as expected, but the movie stayed true to form; I like that.
Liked it way more than I thought I would
very gritty portrayal of a real life story where a boy dealing at a young age gets used by everyone
Slow but interesting. Happened not far from where I grew up and he is just a few years older than me
A rather different movie. I had a good time with this movie, although it does have some pacing issues.
Pacing issues but saved by McConoughey. Kid ends up out of his depth and has to sink or swim.
