This movie was my introduction to mockumentary and my life was forever better because of it
Check on your theatre friends. They are not okay.
Funny, wacky, typical Chris Guest satire about a small town community theater putting on a show with usual C Guest ironic humor & actors.
Anyone who has ever been involved in theater in any capacity needs to see this one
Very unique, quirky movie. Lots of over the top acting which contrasts with the grounded setting and tone
The first of Christopher Guest’s improv-heavy mockumentaries. Awesome ensemble. Funny movie.
Deadpan small town/theater people send up. The cast provides hilarious improv as you'd expect from a Christopher Guest production.
Absolute classic. You can’t help see how many movies and shows borrowed from it. Amazing cast funny throughout. Christopher Guest!
best in show > a mighty wind > waiting for guffman > for your consideration
20 years ago I would have loved this. I'm guessing that if I rewatched A Mighty Winds and Bert in Show I'd dislike them now.
Christopher Guest is the GOD of mocumentarys
Not as flashy as some of these ensemble comedies, but still hilarious and full of heart!
Can’t go wrong with Guest. Special shout-out to the beautifully pathetic Eugene Levy character in this.
Holy shit this movie is so goddamn funny
Being from a small Missouri town, I really enjoyed some of the caricatures they made of small town citizens. Great comedic cast.
A great first installment of Christopher Guest mockumentaries though third in quality overall. He learned from Spinal Tap well.
Quirky but amazing movie,One of the best of the series from this crew
Classic. Hilarious movie, even more so for those of us that have ever worked in theatre.
Kinda of a napoleon dynamite meets tiger king. So random you have to watch once. This movie has a great cast.
Hilarious cast
